Except for the smoke in early August, the Summer 2017 weather in Vancouver was perfect for getting outside. It was also the worst season for forest fires in British Columbia which proved devastating to the people affected, the environment, and economy. The heat lingered in Vancouver through Labour Day, but afterwards, fall was definitely in the air. After a postponement, I was able to visit the Canadian Rockies for three days of hiking and exploring in the beautiful Autumn landscape. You’ll see a few of those photos here and on upcoming posts. Now, please join me on a selection of my photos posted to social media in September.
