With so much absurdness and negativity in the World — and I’m only talking about the real news — I thought it was time to publish something light. I hope you don’t mind. Last Spring, I unexpectedly met someone for the first time on the grounds of the Fairmont Empress in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Such a pleasant, peaceful visit. Please meet…

Roger the Marmot 🙂

Roger is hiding here. Maybe he’s a little shy… C’mon Roger, come out and say hello.

About Randall St. Germain

Randall St. Germain, author of Camino de Santiago In 20 Days, is a middle-aged Canadian Boy who is passionate about nature, photography, hiking, music, and self-improvement. After the death of his mother, he chose to walk the famous pilgrimage, the Camino de Santiago, across the north of Spain, despite knowing little about it. He certainly didn’t plan to write a book until the latter days of his Camino. Similar to walking the Camino, writing and publishing a book was a learning experience. It was also very rewarding, and part of his ongoing journey. Please join him as he takes you along on his journey in Camino de Santiago In 20 Days, and on his blog Camino My Way.

As November arrived to Vancouver, Canada, so did the wet weather as it rained for most of the days. Luckily, we had a little sunshine and it’s needed sometimes to brighten one’s spirits between the periods of gloomy weather. If your spirit’s need brightening, there is a lot of brightness here. This is a selection of my photos from Spring, Summer, and Autumn posted to social media in November.

I love to walk! I also love watching wildlife. On this post, I shall feature photos from my walks in and around Vancouver, Canada, as well as some gentle, and a little humorous, animal encounters that I have had. Now, please join me on my photos posted to social media in the past week.

Hello, everyone. One of the highlights from my week happened very close to home. I was returning on Saturday afternoon when a mama racoon and her five kits or babies were outside my front yard. They “posed” for a few photos and then visited my neighbour’s grape vines where they feasted for half an hour. I have included one cute photo on this post. Other photos look back to my recent trips to the Canadian Rockies and Cathedral Provincial Park, as well as Spring and Summer flowers. Please enjoy my Photos of the Week 🙂

A lovely mix…
